Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 September 2026 · Applies to volundra.com · Deutsche Fassung

This site is deliberately plain. It sets no cookies, embeds no advertising trackers, loads nothing from third-party servers (even the typeface is embedded in the page itself) and contains no forms. What data still arises is described below.

This policy applies to the company website volundra.com. Other websites operated by Volundra GmbH — such as adtronaut.com — carry their own privacy policies, published there.

2. Visiting the site (server logs)

When you open a page, technically necessary data your browser transmits automatically is processed:

Purpose: delivering the page, operational security, defending against attacks and overload.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is secure, uninterrupted operation.
Retention: these logs arise at the hosting provider and are deleted automatically according to their schedule. We do not analyse them by person and do not combine them with other data.

3. Hosting

The site is operated on Cloudflare, including delivery over their network and the associated protection features. Cloudflare acts as a processor under a contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

A transfer to the United States cannot be ruled out. It is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914). We carry out a transfer impact assessment before any such transfer, and we will provide a copy of the safeguards on request.

4. Contacting us by email

This site lists email addresses as mailto links. If you write to us, we process your address and the content of your message in order to answer it.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where a contract or its initiation is concerned, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (responding to enquiries).
Retention: until your enquiry is dealt with, and beyond that only where statutory retention obligations apply.

5a. Audience measurement

To see how often our pages are viewed, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. The service works without cookies and without fingerprinting: no identifier is stored on or read from your device, and visits are not linked across websites. What is collected are aggregate details such as the page viewed, the referring page, approximate region, device type and browser.

Only the home pages embed this script. The legal texts — this page, the legal notice and the terms — load nothing from external servers.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in audience measurement that works without accessing your device. Because no cookies are set and no information is read from your device, no consent under § 165 TKG 2021 is required — which is why there is no cookie banner here.

5. What we do not do

We set no cookies on this site and use neither Google Analytics nor comparable advertising tools. There is no profiling and no automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. We do not sell data, and we do not link visits across websites.

That is also why there is no cookie banner here — there is nothing to consent to.

For the avoidance of doubt: these statements concern the website volundra.com only. Products and services of Volundra GmbH are governed by their own contractual agreements.

6. Recipients

Apart from the hosting described in section 3, we do not pass personal data on. Disclosure occurs only where we are legally obliged to do so.

7. Your rights
